Natan Nuchi was born in Israel in 1951 and has been living in NYC since 1974. His work is in public collections that include The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, The Jewish Museum, New York, The New York Public Library, The New Orleans Museum of Art, Illinois Holocaust Museum, The Israel Museum, Jerusalem and The Haifa Museum, Israel. Nuchi had solo shows in public venues such as The Haifa Museum of Modern Art, The Ramat Gan Museum of Israeli Art, The National Jewish Museum in Washington DC and the Hebrew Union College in New York. He participated in group shows in New York, Great Britain, Germany and Israel including The Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Yad Vashem, Jerusalem, Illinois Holocaust Museum, Royal Festival Hall, London, The Sculpture Center, New York. Nuchi's work has been written about in numerous books, catalogues and publications such as The New York Times, Art In America, Arts Magazine, the Israeli daily Haaretz and the Israeli art magazine Studio.
